FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions, if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to send a text to (858) 342-0203.
What services do you offer?
At Inwardly Psychiatry, I provide holistic, personalized care that combines medication management and talk therapy, tailored to your unique needs. If you already have an established relationship with a therapist, I’m also happy to work collaboratively by focusing on medication management alone. My goal is to support you in a way that feels aligned and sustainable for your growth.
Please send a text to (858) 342- 0203 to schedule a free 10-min phone call to discuss your needs.
Do you accept insurance?
This was not an easy decision. I’ve chosen not to work directly with insurance companies, and I’m an out of network provider. This allows me to spend more time with you in each session, focus on what truly matters for your care, and have the flexibility to create a plan that’s fully tailored to your needs.
You can check your out-of-network benefits at no cost by clicking HERE. If you have out-of-network coverage, I’m happy to provide a superbill. You can then submit the superbill by clicking on REIMBURSIFY for possible reimbursements. This service is free for you and helps simplify the reimbursement process.
Please note that Inwardly Psychiatry is not enrolled with Medicare and is unable to provide care to Medicare beneficiaries, even on a self-pay basis.

Are we a good fit?
I take a holistic approach to care, offering medication management, therapy, or a combination of both. Outside of our sessions, I dedicate time to thinking through your care and how we can adjust and refine it together as your needs evolve.
We may be a good fit if you feel ready to actively engage in this process, committed to exploring therapy, making meaningful lifestyle changes, and partnering with me to work toward lasting growth and well-being, even during the challenging moments.

What kinds of mental health conditions do you help with?
These are some of the common emotional and behavioral patterns I help individuals explore and work through. You may recognize yourself in one or more of the following experiences:
Living with persistent sadness, depressed mood, low motivation, or emotional numbness that makes it hard to engage with life the way you want to
Struggling with anxiety or constant worry, whether it shows up as racing thoughts, restlessness, or a feeling of being on edge
Coping with the impact of trauma or past experiences that continue to affect your sense of safety, relationships, or emotional well-being
Wanting to build healthier habits around food, movement, and stress to support metabolic health and emotional balance. While weight loss may be part of the process, the focus is on sustainable behavioral change and feeling more grounded in your body and mind
Feeling stuck in behavioral patterns that are hard to manage, such as compulsive or excessive use of digital media, gaming, shopping, binge eating, or other habits that interfere with daily life, relationships, or self-worth
